Your 21st

At long last we finally managed to go out and celebrate your upcoming 21st. How time flies. 4 years seemed like yesterday when we used to talk about the time when I can finally asked for your hand. Well not marriage yet but to take you out on dates. It is a simple affair, without the bells and whistles of a pompous royal trip.

Just plain simplicity of taking the train for lunch at Nando's spending our book vouchers at Kinokuniya and ending it with a trip to the park under the hot sun. Yes the world might think that we are crazy to spend time together sitting on the grass under the blazing afternoon heat, but hey, its the fun of being adventurous with you that makes our relationship special. Not only that, we had moments of 'copyright infringement', whereby we could seemingly read each other's mind especially for the past year.

Words cannot describe how much fun I had with you. As you turn 21 in a week's time, know that God is with you every step of the way. He saw you through hard times and He will constantly be there for you. As we wait on God, let us constantly look upon Him with hope and gladness. It is solely His grace and favour which saw us through thick and thin, through our conflicts and misunderstandings. Only by His grace that we could love each other more despite the countless conflicts we had.

Thank you for your companionship throughout these 4 years. And thank you for being my personal editor. God only knows what I'll be without you. Happy 21st.
